Drop Analysis

Drop Analysis is Card Companion's flagship feature. It watches every card drop in your server and instantly posts an embed showing the wishlist count, print number, and whether the card is a pog.

How It Works#

When Karuta posts a drop, Card Companion reads the card data and cross-references it against the live wishlist database. Results are posted as a reply embed within a second.

Enabling Drop Analysis#

Enable or disable drop analysis server-wide:

/config karuta drop_analysis enable_embeds:True

Embed Format#

Choose what information appears in each drop embed. Three formats are available. Pass one of these values to /config karuta custom_embed format_type:

Pog Indicators#

Cards that exceed configured pog thresholds get a special emoji and trigger role pings. See Drop Pings for threshold configuration.

Custom Embed Appearance#

The embed colour, number emojis, and dash emoji can all be customised. See Custom Embed for details.

Per-Channel Overrides#

By default Card Companion shows all drops in all channels. You can set a minimum wishlist per channel so only noteworthy drops get embeds in busy channels:
