Card Companion — a Karuta utility bot for drop analysis, date solving, and server management.
What is Card Companion?
Card Companion is a Discord bot built to enhance your Karuta experience. It processes drops, solves daily quizes, pings roles for rare cards, and gives server admins fine-grained control over how everything works.

Core Features#
Drop Analysis
Reads Karuta drops and shows wishlist counts, print numbers, and pog alerts automatically.
Date Solver
Solves Karuta daily puzzles and posts answers to a configured channel.
Drop Pings
Pings roles for event drops, server drops, and high-wishlist / low-print cards.
Starboard
Automatically reposts standout drops to a dedicated channel.
Auto Verification
Assigns Discord roles when users run k!ui and meet server requirements.
Configuration#
Card Companion can be configured in three ways:
Web Dashboard#
The dashboard gives you a full graphical interface for all settings with live previews and validation.
Config Menu#
Use /config menu or c!config to open an interactive menu directly in Discord.
Slash Commands#
All settings are also available as slash commands for quick one-off changes. The tutorials in this documentation use slash commands throughout.
Server configuration requires Administrator or Manage Server.
Getting Started#
Invite the bot#
Invite Card Companion to your server by clicking here.
Authorize access#
Click Authorize when prompted to let Card Companion see your server list.
Select your server#
Choose your server from the list.
Grant permissions#
Ensure all required permissions are checked in the Discord prompt, then click Authorize.
Follow the Basic Setup guide#
Head to the Basic Setup tutorial to get drop analysis, date solving, and pings configured.
Command Syntax#
- [] — optional parameter
- <> — required parameter
- <option1 | option2> — choose one option
Do not type the literal symbols < > [ ] | when running commands.
